It may be Brantford but it's still Canada and we do get winter ... and
here's the proof:
The trees are almost buried under snow. We couldn't fit more snow on our little patch so we started using our neighbour's relatively snow-free lawn.
With the walks and driveway cleared of this fall (in the area of 20 cm), we expect there will be little snow shovelling left for this season (but you never know)! Still, with only 20 cm, it was a bit of a bugger to clear with drifts up to the knees.
With the concrete and asphalt already drying, our attention is turned
to other matters such as Our bazar little friend who seems to love
cookies!
We continue to enjoy our gas range. It does produce, routinely, the finest
in baked goods. Consisten, reliable baking.
... And we had, for dinner last evening, hot smoked meat on (fresh!) rye, a few potato chips (we didn't have potatoes good for deep frying) and Yvonne's wonderful cole slaw!
