This is an exciting spring. So much has happened of the past couple of days. The 27th saw the beginning of the end of the hyacinths. The delicate bell-like flowers of the grape hyacinth are maturing amid the established hyacinth while sandwort has started to set in.

Corcii and Irises are gone but the 27th marked the first day for tulips and yellow daffodils. Also making its initial appearance was the cherry blossom.

In the back yard robins are nesting and cardinals are hunting up a meal.

By the 30th we'd seen our first bee of the season. The first yellow tulip has opened, the magnolia is just about in full bloom as is the decorative cherry on the boulevard. Daffodiles are about 40 % open and the first peach blossom has shown itself.

What an exciting time to be here!
